Ms. deHaney believes lessons should be taught in a fun and relaxed yet structured manner, where every student is encouraged to develop at their own pace. In addition to note reading, ear training, technique and theory, students will develop viable musical skills through the use of composition, duets and games. In order to see steady progress daily practicing is a necessity. She provides many incentives for this in the form of Studio House Points (Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert), SUPER - SIGHTERS - for those who want to test their Sight - Reading skills, Piano Karate and many other creative ways. She also prepares her students for examinations and festivals. Piano Parties and formal recitals are held annually.
